My first book
When my first book came out I never thought it would be as much as of a success as it was. I was shocked with the instant fame, and well frankly the money. It was only one book, but it earned me an entire 10 years worth of salary, maybe even more. At the time I was a proud mother of twins, with a husband I had been married to for five years. We were so excited to leave our little apartment in Manhattan and move to a nice Upstate home. It took us a week to find our dream home, and within fifteen days we were settled in like we had lived there our entire lives. It was a new home, but it had the charm we had always pictured, it was perfect. After we bought our house, we decided that our outfits should reflect our new lifestyle so a new wardrobe was added to our to-get list. I soon filled my gigantic walk-in closet with shoes, and shirts, and I even bought two snuggies! I knew right then that I was really glad I wrote that book.
