Life in St. Thomas
The third day of our vacation came quickly upon us, and although we were only three days in I was dreading the thought of going home. Island time, had pushed back our usually schedules and I was adjusting quickly. We woke up earlier than our usual days but that was because we were anxious to get down to the beach. We spent a good six hours down at the beach, and then at twelve we went to Coco Joe’s for a late brunch. Usually I could not stand waiting for more than twenty minutes for my food to arrive, but here the time seemed to be no factor. I ate each bite like it would be my last because I never wanted this to end, but my husband quickly snapped me out of my negative outlook and told me to take it one day at a time. I guess he was right, because thinking about being in Chicago snuggling in my snuggy did not make me enjoy my time here. So, I just relaxed and let my worries wash away, man.
