Back to my Roots
Living such a luxurious life can make you forget your roots, and where you came from. So, today I decided to venture back to my hometown back in Queens in New York. I figured I would stop by my old neighborhood, and see if my old neighbors were still there. As I started on my way, I passed old “landmarks”, which I used to taken for granted as a kid. Now, those “landmarks” are on my wall of inspiration and I have them posted on my bulletin board. It enables me to reminiscence on everything about my childhood. As I am driving I get a sudden burst of chills, I am not cold, because I have my snuggies. Then I look at the street Mayberry Lane, when I was kid we never dared to go on this street, because the old lady in the blue house died suddenly while getting her mail. The legend was that the old lady still gets her mail, and to let you know that she is here she sends chills down your body. Maybe looking back on ghost stories was too creepy, and not very nostalgic.
